The repository is a centralized archive of all installation packages of various web applications stored in Plesk.  

Using the repository, system administrators can easily track application statistics, change access permissions, control application versions and perform many other actions.

From the user interface point of view, administering a repository is managing a list of applications. Administrators can easily add an item to the list, update it or remove it from the list. At that, the required operations, checkups and other actions are performed on the application files and database records in Plesk.
